Matte Green 2000 Porsche 911 Carrera cabriolet For Sale.
The car runs beautifully. It has been inspected by a Porsche specialist with considerable service performed. I will provide the details if you are interested.
I have wrapped it in matte green. The mirrors are wrapped in glossy white. I thought this was a unique and cool look. If you don’t like that, the underlying paint condition is fantastic. I will include those pictures. I only wrapped it out of boredom and creative inspiration. Personally, I like this look, and it is a real head-turner.
Much has been updated from stock. Enjoy this list: 1. Wrapped in matte green. Hate to say there is not a scratch on the car, but that is practically the case with the underlying silver. I wrapped for fun. Easy to remove if you don’t like it. 2. All lights inside and out updated to LED.3. Spacers inserted so that wheels flare just a bit. Much improved look.4. Bumperette delete. You’ll see those are gone with panels painted to match car. More of a Euro look. 5. Windows tinted. Windshield also, just a little. 6. Delete the spare and amp from the trunk to provide more cargo space .7. Install cigarette charger in trunk, as well as trickle charger lead.8. Replaced factory amp with Focal. 9. Removed CD changer from trunk.10. Replaced stereo with Kenwood DMX9706S. This meant moving down the HVAC.11. Previous step provides wireless Apple Car Play, Bluetooth (added mic).12. Added backup camera.13. Added idatalink Maestro RR which provides radar detector integration with stereo. 14. Added phone charging pad to cubby below stereo. 15. Added heated seats. 16. Hardwired Escort radar detector wire. 17. Added garage door opener as a button on the horseshoe. 18. Replaced shifter with Numeric short throw (still have original). Replaced with illuminated in matching amber. 19. Replaced door lights with those that shine Porsche logo on the ground. 20. Replaced ashtray in center console with smokeless kit, for more space (and no ugly lid). 21. Replaced all speakers with top of the line Focal (this should be higher on this list!).
The IMS is a mystery. If I still have the car, my shop will inspect it when they change the clutch, and then I’ll probably do the IMS if it hasn’t already been done.
Also, the car was in a minor accident. My girlfriend in her big SUV backed into my parked car in my driveway when she didn’t see it. In retrospect we should have just fixed it out of pocket rather than through insurance, but I was very picky about the shop I wanted to do the work.
